SUMO Protease (GST-tag)
SUMO Protease 1 (GST-tagged) is a fusion protein with a GST tag added to the N-terminus of the SUMO Protease 1 amino acid sequence. It is expressed as a fusion protein in E. coli and purified through multiple chromatography methods to achieve highly purified fusion protein. The optimal reaction temperature for this enzyme is 30°C, but it maintains high cleavage activity under a range of conditions (4~30°C, pH 7~9, 0~300mM NaCl, etc.). The fused GST tag facilitates a removal of the enzyme using GST affinity chromatography after cleavage of the target protein.
