Recombinant Streptavidin 3 (r-SA3)
Recombinant streptavidin 3(r-SA3) is modified at the molecular level on the basis of natural streptavidin to greatly weaken the affinity with biotin (Kd ≈ 10-8M), while maintaining the tetramer structure, which can realize reversible binding and dissociation with biotin, and can be used for mild separation, purification and recycling of biotinylated proteins, antibodies, nucleic acids and other substances. r-SA3 containing cysteine in the molecule, directional coupling can be achieved under certain conditions.
