Q Ion Exchange Resin
The Q NUPharose series are strong anion exchange resins, where Q stands for Quaternary ammonium group.
Compared to other Q resins on the market, this product features minimal nonspecific adsorption and dynamic binding capacity (DBC) that is less affected by residence time. They are widely used in capture, intermediate purification, and
polishing steps for the separation and purification of biomacromolecules.
Based on resolution and application scenarios, the Q NUPharose series can be divided into three products:
Q NUPharose FF (~90 μm), Q NUPharose HP (~35 μm), and Q NUPharose BB (~200 μm). FF stands for Fast Flow;
Q NUPharose FF features fast flow rates suitable for rapid protein purification, wide applicability, and easy scale-up.
Q NUPharose HP offers high resolution and is often used in polishing stages.
Q NUPharose BB has a large particle size, making it suitable for high-viscosity systems such as blood products, and can also be used for batch static operations.
