IDA & Ni-IDA Metal Chelate Affinity Resin
Ni-IDA NUPharose FF and IDA NUPharose FF are metal chelate affinity chromatography resin containing iminodiacetic acid (IDA) groups, suitable for the affinity chromatography of most histidine-tagged (His-tag) proteins. Both products are based on our classic agarose gel microspheres, and “FF” stands for Fast Flow, indicating the resin can operate efficiently at high flow rates.
IDA NUPharose FF is supplied without prechelated metal ions, allowing users to chelate metal ions such as Ni2+, Co2+, Cu2+, Zn2+ before use.
Ni-IDA NUPharose FF is pre-chelated with Ni2+ and can be used directly. Through a unique ligand modification process, these products achieve a balance between affinity and specificity: binding capacity for most His-tagged proteins is greater than 40 mg/mL while achieving over 90% purity in a single-step purification.
