Alkali-tolerant Protein A Affinity Resin
The recombinant alkali-tolerant Protein A ligand is expressed in E. coli and is animal-origin free. The base bead of rat-PA NUPharose FF is single-point coupled to the ligand and further enhanced by genetic engineering, resulting in a stable dynamic binding capacity (DBC) for human IgG of 60 mg/mL.
It can withstand cleaning with 0.1~0.5 M NaOH solutions for endotoxin removal and can endure over 100 CIP cycles under standard operating conditions.
This resin features minimal ligand leakage and low levels of host cell protein during purification. Compared to ProA NUPharose FF, this product maintain affinity for various types and subtypes of antibodies from human, mouse, rat, rabbit, bovine, and other sources.
It can be used for the isolation and purification of various mammalian antibody subtypes or genetically engineered recombinant proteins containing the antibody Fc fragment from sources such as ascites, serum, cell culture supernatant, or cell lysates. It meets stringent cleaning requirements for research or production applications at various
scales.
